Pewaukee Shop Closure

It’s with a whole boatload of big emotions that we announce as of the end of September, the Lake Effect Co Pewaukee beachside shop is closing its doors. When we extended beyond our “Summer 2019 Pop-up” we had loads of momentum and ideas. But those ideas and the state of all things “in the year 2020…” were simply not the right fit.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I wanted this to work. But like some things that might or could work over time or if we just did xyz thing differently, sometimes you just get a sense that ya gotta let go. As someone who believes fully in Divine timing and going with the flow, there came a point where I had to recognize that the output never aligning with input was a sign to close up.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We will go back to how we've spent the first few years of business, to our online-only presence, at the end of September. We realized that for the right mix of hearts, souls, people and planet, our mission is better served in that format.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This space was so wonderful. I have, forever locked in my heart, a collection of views and people and vibes that felt surreal, perfect, golden, lovely. There were a number of people who blew me away with their support, their encouragement, their enthusiasm, their love.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
